Orbital Fat Grafting for Spontaneous or Post-Surgical
Hollowness or Multiple Folding in the Asian Upper Eyelid

Because orbital fat grafting procedures are very specialized, limited in availabilty, require a much higher level of expertise, and take 2-3 times longer to perform than standard double eyelid surgery, surgery costs are increased.

While fees may vary depending upon severity, our most typical charge for bilateral upper or bilateral lower orbital fat grafting is $7,800 (includes surgery, operating room, and supplies). For grafting on only a single upper or lower eyelid, our most typical charge is $5,200.

If additional surgery is needed to address another problem (for instance, crease or scar revision), total costs will be higher.

If more fat grafting surgery is requesed to adjust or augment a result after previous orbital fat grafting within the first twelve months, the fee for that second surgery is reduced by 50%. After twelve months, full fees apply. Especially with severe hollowness, more than one operation may be needed.

We cannot quote more precise prices until after a face-to-face or online iConsultation.

Orbital fat grafting should not be confused with needle injection of liposuctioned fat, a more common procedure that is ineffective for volume augmentation within the socket and deeper eyelid.
