BLEPHAROPLASTY 101 is the work of Dr. Frank Meronk, Jr., a graduate of The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and a fellowship-trained specialist in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery.
Over the course of a thirty-two year Southern California practice devoted to cosmetic oculoplastic surgery, Dr. Meronk performed tens of thousands of first-time and revision blepharoplasty procedures on patients from throughout the United States and abroad.
In the last decade, his interests focused on newer methods of preserving and restoring rather than removing offending eyelid tissues ("tissue-sparing blepharoplasty") and the development of more advanced methods of treating severe post-blepharoplasty hollowness with particulate orbital fat grafting.
