Patient had undergone previous upper blepharoplasty elsewhere at a much younger age and now desires stabilization of a drooping brow without extensive forehead surgery.

1. Small incision made in eyelid skin (in this case minimal because of previous surgery)
|
2. Skin removed; dissection into deeper level of eyelid
|
|
|
|
|
3. Dissection from inside the blepharoplasty incision exposing bone underneath the brow
|
4. Suture first passed through the soft tissue underlying the eyebrow
|
|
|
|
|
5. Same suture next passed through the lining of orbital bone (periosteum)
|
6. Suture now in place will anchor the brow to bone at the desired higher level
|
|
|
|
|
7. Second similar suture fixation created to establish proper height and contour
|
8. Sutures cut and left permanently in place
