Patient had undergone previous lower eyelid blepharoplasty elsewhere complicated by hollowness and collapse on one side. A previous attempt at autogenous fat transplantation (fat injection) by another surgeon resulted in rapid absorption and lumpiness.

Employing various modifications, orbital fat grafting has been utilized in the correction of:

• post-blepharoplasty hollowness
• hereditary eyelid/orbital hollowness (no previous surgery)
• hereditary dark circles below the eye due to a sunken lid
