Video podcasting is a web-based medium that allows for easy viewing of digital video recordings (called "episodes") from within a podcasting client (in this case, iTunes, free software from Apple Inc. for both Macs and PCs).
An episode can either be watched immediately (simply double click on its title) or downloaded into iTunes (click "Get Epidode" on the far right) and viewed later. It can also be transferred to an iPod capable of displaying video and then watched while on the go.
Despite its name, you don't need an iPod to view a podcast. All it takes is a computer with an Internet connection and iTunes software.
If you do own a video-capable iPod, you can view the presentations not only at any time but also from anywhere, including inside of an airplane or under an umbrella at the beach. With AppleTV, you can even watch them on a widescreen television.
